1. Who we are & scope

The Lefthanded Foundation (“the Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a non-profit organization supporting and celebrating left-handed people worldwide. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, newsletter, contact forms, and related services (together, the “Services”). For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Foundation is the “data controller” of your personal data.

This is a global policy. Where local law (such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act) grants you stronger rights, those rights apply to you.

2. Information we collect

We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

• Information you give us — such as your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter, and your name, email, subject, and message when you use our contact form.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• data portability;
• withdraw consent at any time;
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. To exercise any right, email privacy@lefthanded.foundation. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

11. Children's privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
